Do you have some old books lying around you don’t plan to read again but don’t want to get rid of? Turn them into book sculptures. These little works of art look beautiful nestled between books on your shelves. First, choose a book to turn into a book sculpture. For this style of sculpture, you need a paperback book. Make sure the pages aren’t too brittle you need to be able to fold them without cracking. You also need to make sure the pages are secure in the binding. Illustrated books make interesting book sculptures, but plain text also looks beautiful. For best results, choose a book with about 200-300 pages. If you don’t have an appropriate book on your shelves, your local thrift store probably has plenty to choose from.
